COVID-19 Details

What happens if I (james) get covid?

Unfortunately due to the rate at which covid is running through our community it means that some of your vendors will likely be unavailable for the day due to being in close contact quarantine or actually contracting the virus. To reassure you that I have in mind a plan for this scenario I have some information below as to what action I can take to ensure someone is there to capture the day

I’m part of a Sydney wedding photography group on Facebook that was set up to help each other out for just this sort of situation - there’s over 100 of us in there that are ready to help out if someone is out of action. On top of this I know a dozen more photographer friends I can call on. I would hope that one of those 100+ would be available to replace me for the day.

If I need to replace myself because of covid:

  • I’ll of course be in touch as soon as I become aware of the situation

  • Then to confirm availability of one or more photographers to replace me

  • Additionally I keep detailed notes for all weddings including timings, locations, family photo lists and any requests so that I can pass that information on to the replacement photographer quickly and without you having to worry about repeating the information

  • I’ll have the photographer get in touch with you to chat through the details to ensure they are aware of everything you want to relay for the day

On top off this of course I’m double masking up for all weddings + will be getting my third Vaccination on Jan 31 2022

If you would like to chat further about this please call or email anytime!

Covid-19 details

2020 brought on the suckiest of all terms “covid-19” and with that a tonne of uncertainty for couples so I’ve tried to make sure we can accomodate any government regulations with as much ease and fairness as possible for everyone. Here I’ve simply cut and paste the details from the contract, but also to keep in mind that when the govt did shut weddings down we were able to move 37 weddings to a new date with no dramas at all.

Postponement - Should government regulations surrounding COVID-19 result in the wedding not being able to proceed then Rose photos will reschedule the wedding if:
(a) We are given at least 3 options for new dates that your venue is available
(b) We are available on at least 1 of the mentioned dates
(c) If we are unavailable for all of the dates then the Wedding Couple can terminate the agreement as per section 10.3

10.7 Postponement - Should government regulations surrounding COVID-19 stipulate weddings can proceed however the Wedding Couple chooses to postpone the wedding, Rose Photos will reschedule the wedding provided that:

(a) We are given at least 3 options for new dates that your venue is available
(b) We are available on at least 1 of the mentioned dates
(c) If we are unavailable for all of the dates then the Wedding Couple can terminate the agreement as per section 10.3
(d) The Wedding Couple pays a new booking fee equal to the original booking fee within 7 days of confirmation of the new event date in order to secure the new booking with Rose Photos. This new booking fee will be subtracted from the total amount currently due on the Wedding Couple's account and will be non refundable as per section 2.2 of the contract
(e) If the Wedding Couple choose to postpone for a second time then new pricing may be applicable per current pricing from Rose Photos
