family photos

so important for remembering those closest to you

When, how, etc

Generally speaking I love to do these immediately after your ceremony (after some congratulations and things) as all your guests are there and easy to gather together. It can be a stressful time with a lot going on so planning the photos you want is definitely the best option.

If you have someone who is familiar with most of your guests to help get them organised that is great however I’m happy to get everyone together as well.

The photos all together might take around 15 mins or so depending on how many groups you’d like to get but the best thing is you get to stay in the one position and then everyone will come to you :)

The List

Below is a list that I call the “Generic Family Photo List” and I call it that because no one knows the makeup of your families like you do, so the list below more than likely wont work perfectly for you. That’s why I always ask for your input. Feel totally free to tear it apart, use none of it, use all of it, add, subtract, anything at all until you get a list of photos that works best for you and your families.

This is the only time during the whole wedding day where I’ll be reading from a list, as I want to make sure every photo is captured as you requested, and the no one feels left out.
